Fred P. LoBue, Jr., President and CFO
Son of company co-founder Fred LoBue, Sr., Fred (as did all of the founding LoBue sons) grew up on one of the family orange groves, working there or in the packing house during summers and school vacations. After graduation from San Jose State University with a BS degree in Industrial Management, Fred began his career at LoBue Brothers in 1962 as an accounting assistant and (other than two years of military service) has been here ever since. He was Corporate Treasurer and Chief Financial Officer in 1996 when then President Mario LoBue passed away. Fred became President at that time, but continues as Chief Financial Officer. Major innovations instituted by Fred during his tenure include computerizing grower reporting, sales and accounting systems, implementing a modern personnel management system, and developing an accelerated grower payment program. Fred also represents LoBue Bros., Inc. interests in the industry by participating in many industry organizations and trade associations. He is involved in a number of community service efforts and serves on the board of a community bank. With 37 year’s experience in the business, Fred brings a lot of knowledge and history to the table.

Philip R. LoBue, General Manager and Corporate Sec
Phil is eldest son of co-founder Mario LoBue. After graduation from University of California, Davis with a degree in Ag. Business Management in 1970, Phil attended North Carolina State, earning a Masters Degree in Economics. Upon his return, he began his career at LoBue Brothers by training in its various departments. In 1972, he became involved in the company’s new juice processing venture, now called Valley Foods. This involvement was to last 28 years, with 26 of those years as V.P. and General Manager. Phil took the juice operation from a small, start up with no particular market niche to a true industry innovator, providing its participants with superior service and exceptional juice prices. In 1999, with the passing of LoBue Brothers’ long time General Manager, G.A. Wollenman, Phil was asked to take the helm of LoBue Bros., Inc., running the company’s day-to-day operations. A knowledgeable, personable, “let’s-get-it-done” kind of guy, he is easily accessible to growers at any time. With him, grower’s interests and needs always come first.
